Mouse Serum amyloid A-4 protein (Saa4) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Serum amyloid A-4 protein (SAA4). The assay is intended for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, supporting research into inflammation and the acute-phase response.

SAA4 is a secreted major acute-phase reactant and an apolipoprotein of the HDL complex (UniProt P31532), with the synonym Amyloid A-5 protein (Saa5). The kit provides a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay CV of 5.8% and inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant mouse SAA4. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, and recovery has been confirmed in serum and plasma. The product is for research use only.
