Mouse SERPINE2 ELISA Kit

A solid-phase sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse SERPINE2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB-based colour development.

Reported assay sensitivity is 3.75 pg/mL with a working range of 6.25-400 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, and sample recovery averages of 98% (serum), 97% (EDTA plasma), and 95% (heparin plasma) are listed in the manufacturer data. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, where the kit remains stable for 12 months. The protocol involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) incubation for 30 minutes, and TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes prior to stop solution addition.

SERPINE2, also referred to as glia-derived nexin, proteinase nexin 1, and plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 member 2, plays a role in regulating fibrinolysis and extracellular matrix remodelling, and dysregulation has been linked to various diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and fibrosis.
