Mouse Serologically defined colon cancer antigen 3 homolog (Sdccag3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit designed for quantitative detection of serologically defined colon cancer antigen 3 homolog (Sdccag3) in mouse samples. The kit is intended for research use only and targets SDCCAG3, a protein homologous to the human colon cancer antigen 3 that has been implicated in cancer progression and metastasis. Optical density is read at 450 nm using a standard microplate reader.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for mouse specimens. The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.083ng/mL. Specificity is reported for the natural and recombinant mouse form of the target. According to the manufacturer, SDCCAG3 functions as an endosome-associated protein that plays a role in membrane receptor sorting, cytokinesis and ciliogenesis, and is involved in the presentation of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor TNFRSF1A on the cell surface, contributing to modulation of TNF-induced apoptosis.
