Mouse Serine-protein kinase ATM (Atm) ELISA Kit

The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Serine-protein kinase ATM and is reactive with mouse samples, using a solid phase format.

According to the manufacturer, ATM is a serine/threonine protein kinase that activates checkpoint signaling upon double strand breaks (DSBs), apoptosis and genotoxic stresses such as ionizing ultraviolet A light (UVA), acting as a DNA damage sensor. It phosphorylates 'Ser-139' of histone variant H2AX/H2AFX at DSBs and is involved in pre-B cell allelic exclusion, signal transduction, and cell cycle control, and may function as a tumor suppressor. It is necessary for activation of ABL1 and SAPK, and phosphorylates substrates including DYRK2, CHEK2, p53/TP53, FANCD2, NFKBIA, BRCA1, CTIP, nibrin (NBN), TERF1, RAD9 and DCLRE1C.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Storage is at -20°C and shipping is at +4°C.
