Mouse Serglycin (Srgn) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Serglycin (SRGN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Serglycin and is supplied for research use only, with established relevance to cancer research and to studies of immune and inflammatory processes.

Validated performance includes a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.318ng/mL. Precision data show an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Dilution linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilution factors, with serum recovery averaging 100% (range 94-106%) and plasma recovery averaging 102% (range 96-108%). The target protein binds to activated CD44 and to granzyme B (GZMB).

Serglycin, also known by synonyms including Mastocytoma proteoglycan core protein, Secretory granule proteoglycan core protein, gp600, Prg, and Prg1 (UniProt P13609), is a proteoglycan involved in the formation of mast cell secretory granules, the storage of compounds within secretory vesicles, and the storage of granzyme B in T-lymphocytes.
