Mouse Septin-6 (Sept6) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Septin-6 (Sept6) in mouse samples. The assay is reactive with mouse and is intended for research use only. It is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit offers a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.324ng/mL, and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Septin-6. Septin-6 is a filament-forming cytoskeletal GTPase required for normal organization of the actin cytoskeleton and involved in cytokinesis, with documented associations with cellular structures such as the cleavage furrow, midbody, kinetochore and sperm annulus.

Detection is performed by reading the optical density at 450 nm using a microplate reader. The colourimetric end-point is generated by a standard sandwich ELISA workflow using the reagents supplied, and exact storage conditions for individual kit components are provided with the kit.
