Mouse Selectin, Platelet (SELP) ELISA Kit

This Mouse Selectin, Platelet (SELP) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides researchers with a quantitative tool for measuring P-selectin (CD62P) levels in mouse biological samples. P-selectin is a 140 kDa type-I transmembrane glycoprotein stored in platelet alpha-granules and endothelial Weibel-Palade bodies, translocating to the cell surface within minutes following thrombin or histamine activation. The kit supports studies of thrombosis, atherosclerosis, vascular inflammation, sepsis, and sickle cell disease, where elevated soluble P-selectin serves as a biomarker of platelet activation and endothelial dysfunction. With a standard detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, the assay supports quantification across serum, platelet-poor plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernatants, fitting both in vivo mouse models and in vitro cell culture experiments.
