Mouse Secretory Immunoglobulin A ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed to quantify Secretory Immunoglobulin A (sIgA) in mouse-derived samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. SIgA is a key component of mucosal immunity, contributing to pathogen defence and immune tolerance, making this assay relevant to research into infection, inflammation, and autoimmune disease.

The workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Documented recovery ranges are 87–104% (average 95%) for serum, 86–104% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 89–105% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 81–105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit is intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
