The Mouse Secretin ELISA from Assay Genie uses a competitive immunoassay format, the established approach for quantifying small peptide hormones such as secretin, a 27-amino acid gastrointestinal peptide. The kit supplies a pre-coated microplate, competitive assay buffers, calibrated standards, and detection reagents needed to run a full microplate of samples in one work-up. Mouse serum is loaded alongside a secretin-specific antibody and a labelled secretin conjugate, with the resulting colour signal inversely proportional to endogenous secretin concentration in the sample.
