Mouse SCF/c-kit Ligand/Stem Cell Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantification of mouse stem cell factor (SCF), also known as c-Kit Ligand, across a standard curve range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. The double-antibody colorimetric assay is validated for mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Stem cell factor plays a central role in stem cell proliferation, differentiation and survival, and is essential for hematopoiesis and melanogenesis. Dysregulation of SCF has been associated with cancer and inflammatory disorders, making it a useful biomarker for disease research and therapeutic development. The kit is supplied with a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, dilution buffers, wash buffer, stop solution, plate sealer and technical manual, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions for serum (83-101% at 1:2, 81-101% at 1:4, 90-98% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (92-99%, 82-99%, 83-100%) and heparin plasma (82-99%, 86-101%, 82-94%). Average recovery was 93% in serum (range 85-101%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 95-104%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 86-101%). The protocol involves sample/standard incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution.
