Mouse SARDH/Sarcosine dehydrogenase ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of SARDH (Sarcosine Dehydrogenase) levels in mouse samples, this competitive ELISA is coated with antigen and employs a colorimetric detection method. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with kit components intended for storage at 2-8°C (sealed); cryopreservation is not recommended.

Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) for serum is reported at 89-101%, 83-95%, and 80-100%; EDTA plasma at 91-102%, 82-101%, and 84-94%; and heparin plasma at 91-95%, 86-99%, and 80-99%. Recovery data show serum samples averaging 98% (range 93-101%), EDTA plasma averaging 95% (range 87-105%), and heparin plasma averaging 96% (range 91-100%).

SARDH is a key enzyme involved in sarcosine metabolism, with dysregulation associated with cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions. The assay procedure involves binding of biotin-labeled antibody to samples followed by TMB substrate colour development, with absorbance measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader.
