Mouse Sarcosine dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (Sardh) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a colorimetric ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of mouse sarcosine dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (SARDH). The kit is validated for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse SARDH.

According to the manufacturer datasheet, the assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are 6.4% intra-assay CV and 8.6% inter-assay CV. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (108–117%, 89–98%, 89–98%, 89–99% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (104–115%, 80–92%, 98–108%, 87–100%), and heparin plasma (94–106%, 106–115%, 99–108%, 97–107%). Recovery is 101% for serum (range 95–107%) and 103% for plasma (range 97–109%).

Sarcosine dehydrogenase is an enzyme involved in the breakdown of sarcosine, a derivative of the amino acid glycine, and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders. The kit is intended for research use only and is relevant to studies of cell biology, with the target protein localised to the mitochondrial matrix.
