Mouse S100B/S100 beta ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of S100B (S100 beta) levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL, with a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated in serum (88-99% at 1:2, 88-103% at 1:4, 88-105% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (83-100% / 82-94% / 91-101%), and heparin plasma (85-99% / 83-97% / 80-93%), each at n = 5. Average recovery is 97% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

S100B is a calcium-binding protein involved in cell growth, differentiation, and inflammation, and has been implicated as a biomarker in Alzheimer's disease, traumatic brain injury, and stroke, supporting research into these disease states and potential therapeutic targets.
