Mouse S100A7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the sensitive detection of S100A7 levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. S100A7 is a calcium-binding protein implicated in immune response and inflammation, and is associated with various skin conditions, autoimmune diseases, and cancer development, making the kit useful for studying its role in disease pathology and therapeutic target identification.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.141 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.234-15 ng/mL. Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions for serum (87-101%, 82-100%, 85-99%), EDTA plasma (87-103%, 83-100%, 86-99%), and heparin plasma (85-104%, 84-97%, 80-97%) samples (n=5). Recovery ranges were 95-100% (average 98%) for serum, 88-103% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-105% (average 98%) for heparin plasma (n=5).

The protocol includes reagent equilibration and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Recommended storage is 2-8°C for 12 months.
