Mouse S100A6 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this kit is a sandwich ELISA employing a double antibody configuration, designed for the quantitative measurement of S100A6 in mouse samples. S100A6 is a calcium-binding protein involved in cellular processes including cell cycle progression, proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis, and is implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders and neurodegenerative conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for research in these disease states.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity values reported are: serum (n = 5) 89-95%, 82-101%, 81-98% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma (n = 5) 88-105%, 84-99%, 80-99%; and heparin plasma (n = 5) 85-101%, 83-101%, 82-94%. Recovery averages are 97% for serum, 99% for EDTA plasma and 92% for heparin plasma. Overall storage condition is 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay procedure comprises reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
