EF-hand Calcium-binding Protein Quantification

This colourimetric immunoassay from Assay Genie targets S100 calcium-binding protein A10 (S100A10), an 11 kDa EF-hand calcium-binding protein that forms a heterotetrameric complex with annexin A2 at the plasma membrane. The S100A10/annexin A2 complex participates in vesicle trafficking, ion-channel regulation (notably TRPV5/6 and TASK-1), and cell-surface presentation of serotonin 5-HT1B and tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium channels.

Configured for murine reactivity, the kit is intended for research use only and supports quantification of S100A10 in laboratory mouse specimens, including serum-type, plasma-type, and tissue-homogenate samples drawn from models of inflammation, tumour biology, or neuroscience. Reagents are provided as a complete pack sufficient for 96 determinations in a microplate workflow.

Each well receives a defined microlitre sample volume during the protocol. Reagents should be refrigerated to preserve antibody binding activity over the kit's stated shelf life.
