Mouse S100A1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of S100A1 protein in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method based on a double-antibody sandwich format.

Linearity in serum samples (n=5) ranges from 87–102% at 1:2 dilution, 83–100% at 1:4, and 85–98% at 1:8. EDTA plasma shows 85–92%, 83–94%, and 80–95% across the same dilutions, while heparin plasma ranges from 85–95%, 89–98%, and 86–95%. Recovery averages are 91% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma, and 98% for heparin plasma.

Components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. The protocol involves sequential incubations with standards/samples, biotin-labeled antibody, and HRP-streptavidin, with color development using TMB and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months.
