Mouse S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase proenzyme 1 (Amd1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase proenzyme 1 (Amd1), also known by the synonym AdoMetDC 1. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples. It is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase proenzyme 1 with a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.431ng/mL. The target protein functions as a heterotetramer of two alpha and two beta chains and is an important intermediate enzyme in polyamine biosynthesis, where the polyamines spermine, spermidine, and putrescine serve as low-molecular-weight aliphatic amines essential for cellular proliferation.
