Mouse Ryanodine Receptor 1, Skeletal (RYR1) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring Ryanodine Receptor 1, Skeletal (RYR1) protein levels in mouse-derived samples. RYR1 is the principal intracellular calcium release channel of the sarcoplasmic reticulum in skeletal muscle, mediating excitation-contraction coupling and governing calcium homeostasis during muscle activation and relaxation.

This kit supports research into skeletal muscle physiology, calcium signaling, and disorders linked to RYR1 dysfunction, including malignant hyperthermia susceptibility, central core disease, multiminicore myopathy, and congenital fiber-type disproportion. It can also be applied to studies of muscle wasting, sarcopenia models, exercise physiology, and neuromuscular junction biology.

The assay accommodates multiple sample matrices commonly prepared from murine tissue, including skeletal muscle homogenates and cell lysates, as well as other relevant biological samples generated in laboratory workflows. Detection is performed using a colorimetric readout read on a standard microplate reader.
