Mouse Ropporin-1 (Ropn1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Ropporin-1 (Ropn1), also known as Rhophilin-associated protein 1, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Ropporin-1 using a colorimetric detection method. ROPN1 is a protein essential for sperm motility, the acrosome reaction and fertilization in mice, providing researchers with a tool to investigate its role in male fertility and reproductive biology.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Serum recovery averaged 106% (range 100–112%) and plasma recovery averaged 108% (range 102–114%). The kit is supplied with a dismountable 8×12-strip ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer, and is for research use only.
