Mouse Ribonuclease inhibitor (Rnh1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate quantification of mouse Ribonuclease inhibitor (RNH1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is specific to natural and recombinant mouse RNH1 and is supplied for research use only.

RNH1 is a cytoplasmic ribonuclease inhibitor that suppresses RNASE1, RNASE2 and angiogenin (ANG), forming high-affinity heterodimers with each. It may also play a role in redox homeostasis, and is implicated in regulating ribonuclease activity, RNA stability, protein translation and gene expression. The protein is relevant to research in RNA biology, viral infections and autoimmune disorders.

The assay uses a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA format with a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.39 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at -20 °C. The native protein has a molecular weight of 31.8 kDa (UniProt Q91VI7).
