Mouse Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoC (Rhoc) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative detection of mouse Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoC (Rhoc), also referred to as Silica-induced gene 61 protein, SIG-61 or Arhc. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for measuring RhoC in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, supporting research in signal transduction and the mechanisms underlying cancer metastasis and invasion.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.788ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Linearity has been validated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery in serum averages 97% with a range of 91-103%, while in plasma it averages 99% with a range of 93-105%.

The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoC and is supplied for research use only. The RhoC protein is a small G protein of the Rho family that regulates a signal transduction pathway linking plasma membrane receptors to the assembly of focal adhesions and actin stress fibers, and also participates in apical junction formation in bronchial epithelial cells.
