Mouse Resistin Like Beta (RETNLb) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Mouse Resistin Like Beta (RETNLb) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of RETNLb, also known as RELMβ or FIZZ2, a cysteine-rich secreted protein abundantly expressed in colonic and small intestinal goblet cells. Researchers use this kit to investigate mucosal immune responses, helminth infection models, colitis-associated inflammation, and metabolic regulation studies where RETNLb serves as a marker of intestinal epithelial activation. The assay is calibrated against a recombinant mouse RETNLb standard, with a working detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity below 5 pg/mL, supporting reliable quantitation in both basal and pathogen-challenged samples. Only mouse RETNLb is recognized, with no significant cross-reactivity observed with mouse resistin or other RELM family members under standard conditions. Recommended sample volumes of 50 to 100 µL are compatible with the protocol. Reagents should be stored refrigerated until first use, with unused strips returned to the foil pouch with desiccant to preserve antibody binding activity; reconstituted standard aliquots can be snap-frozen and held at -20 °C for long-term storage. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and assay diluent sufficient for 96 determinations.
