Mouse Resistin ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of resistin in mouse samples. It uses a double-antibody method with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm, and is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Reported recovery averages are 94% for serum (n = 5), 92% for EDTA plasma (n = 5) and 99% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls within 82-102% across the same matrices. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Resistin is a hormone implicated in the regulation of glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity, and is also involved in inflammation and obesity-related conditions, making it a useful biomarker for metabolic and immunological research.
