Mouse Renalase (Rnls) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Renalase (RNLS), a secreted FAD-dependent amine oxidase involved in the regulation of cardiac function and systemic blood pressure. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and accommodates serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm. The kit demonstrates specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Renalase and is supplied for research use only.

Quantitative performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.78 ng/mL. Precision values are reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity has been validated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (87–114%), EDTA plasma (97–121%), and heparin plasma (99–117%). Spike-and-recovery performance shows average recovery of 115% (range 109–120%) in serum and 117% (range 111–120%) in plasma. Renalase circulates as a secreted protein of approximately 52 kDa (UniProt A7RDN6) and is implicated in hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and heart failure, making it a relevant biomarker for cell biology research in renal and cardiovascular contexts.
