Mouse Relaxin 3 ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of mouse Relaxin-3 (RLN3) is supported by this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, supplied as a 96 Assays kit with colorimetric readout. Relaxin-3 is a neuropeptide of the relaxin/insulin superfamily, expressed predominantly in the nucleus incertus of the brainstem, where it signals through the RXFP3 GPCR to modulate stress responses, feeding behavior, arousal, and circadian rhythm.

The assay uses a pre-coated plate and biotin-streptavidin-HRP chemistry. Standards and samples are added to wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. After substrate addition, the reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Sample volume is 50 µL per well.

The capture antibody is mouse-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity with rat or human Relaxin-3. Validated sample types include serum and plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, substrate solution, stop solution, wash buffer, and standard diluent. Unopened kits should be stored at 2-8°C until first use, with working aliquots of the standard and detection antibody stored frozen to preserve activity. The assay is for research use only.
