Mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 9 (Rgs9) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Regulator of G-protein signaling 9 (RGS9) in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit shows reactivity with mouse and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 9 (UniProt O54828). RGS9 belongs to the 'regulator of G protein signaling' family and inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits, driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. It binds to G(t)-alpha and is involved in phototransduction, where it serves as a key element in the recovery phase of visual transduction.

Quantitative performance figures supplied include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.16 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 6.4% and inter-assay precision at 8.7%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum values of 101–112% at 1:2 and 87–117% across all dilutions tested. Recovery averaged 93% for serum (range 87–99%) and 95% for plasma (range 89–101%).
