Mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 3 (Rgs3) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 3 (RGS3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and recognises both natural and recombinant mouse RGS3, with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.8pg/mL.

RGS3 down-regulates signalling from heterotrimeric G-proteins by increasing the GTPase activity of the alpha subunits, thereby driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form, and down-regulates G-protein-mediated release of inositol phosphates and activation of MAP kinases. Isoform 4 is localised to the nucleus, and the protein binds the GNB1-GNG2 heterodimer as well as EFNB1 and EFNB2.

Reported performance includes an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Dilutional linearity for serum spanned 89-119% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions; EDTA plasma spanned 86-120% and heparin plasma 94-115% over the same dilutions. Average recovery was 93% (range 87-99%) in serum and 95% (range 89-101%) in plasma. For research use only.
