Mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 10 (Rgs10) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for quantitative detection of Regulator of G-protein signaling 10 (RGS10) in mouse samples. The assay has reactivity for mouse and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse RGS10. RGS10 regulates G protein-coupled receptor signaling cascades, including signaling downstream of the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor CHRM2. It inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits, driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form, and modulates potassium channels activated in response to CHRM2 signaling. Activity on GNAZ is inhibited by palmitoylation of the G-protein. The protein interacts with GNAZ, GNAI1 and GNAI3, associating with the activated GTP-bound forms of GNAZ and GNAI3, and localizes to the cytoplasm, cytosol and nucleus, with forskolin treatment promoting phosphorylation and nuclear translocation.
