Mouse Reelin (RL) ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of Reelin protein concentrations in mouse specimens. Reelin is a large extracellular matrix glycoprotein that guides neuronal migration, cortical lamination, and synaptic plasticity during brain development, and altered expression has been documented in studies of Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, lissencephaly, and autism spectrum disorders.

The assay accommodates tissue homogenates, serum-derived specimens, plasma-derived specimens, and additional body fluid matrices, offering flexibility for tissue-based studies, circulating biomarker analysis, and cerebrospinal fluid research. Each microplate ELISA kit is intended for laboratory research use only, supporting workflows such as knockout mouse characterization, neurodegeneration studies, and developmental neurobiology investigations.

Allow kit components to reach room temperature prior to running the protocol, and minimize freeze-thaw cycles on reconstituted standards to preserve reagent activity. A standard microplate reader is required for absorbance measurement and is sold separately.
