Mouse Receptor-binding cancer antigen expressed on SiSo cells (Ebag9) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for quantitative detection of mouse Receptor-binding cancer antigen expressed on SiSo cells (Ebag9). The assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects natural and recombinant mouse Ebag9 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target protein, also known as cancer-associated surface antigen RCAS1 or estrogen receptor-binding fragment-associated gene 9 protein (Rcas1), functions as a homodimer localised predominantly to the Golgi apparatus membrane and is studied within cancer research, where it may contribute to suppression of cell proliferation and induction of apoptotic cell death via activation of interleukin-1-beta converting enzyme (ICE)-like proteases.

Detection is by colorimetric ELISA with a detection range of 0.078-5ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.039ng/mL. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery data are provided with the kit. The kit comprises a dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; most reagents are stored at -20°C, with wash buffer, substrate and stop solution stored at 4°C.
