Mouse Reactive oxygen species modulator 1 (Romo1) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Reactive oxygen species modulator 1 (Romo1), also referred to as Protein MGR2 homolog and ROS modulator 1, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, using colorimetric detection. It is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Romo1 and is supplied for research use only.

Romo1 is a single-pass integral membrane protein of the mitochondrial inner membrane that induces reactive oxygen species (ROS) production needed for cell proliferation and has been implicated in oxidative DNA damage, replicative senescence and coordination of mitochondrial morphology with cell proliferation. Dysregulation of Romo1 has been associated with cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and inflammatory conditions, making it a relevant target within signal transduction research.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 8.06 pg/mL. Precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.6% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Recovery averages 99% in serum (range 93-105%) and 101% in plasma (range 95-107%). Linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is 89-100%, 99-109%, 84-93% and 112-124%; EDTA plasma gives 89-98%, 80-91%, 108-116% and 103-113%; heparin plasma gives 88-98%, 88-88%, 87-96% and 104-116%.
