Mouse RasGAP ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse RasGAP ELISA Kit is a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay designed for the quantitative measurement of RasGAP (Ras GTPase-activating protein) in mouse samples. The kit has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, supporting research in developmental biology and the study of Ras signalling in cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) ranges from 86-102% at 1:2 dilution, 82-101% at 1:4, and 84-94% at 1:8. EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 94-105%, 85-101%, and 84-96% across the same dilutions, while heparin plasma (n=5) shows 90-104%, 83-94%, and 80-100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 94% in serum, 100% in EDTA plasma, and 98% in heparin plasma.

The protocol uses a pre-coated plate with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB substrate development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, with absorbance read at 450 nm after stop solution addition. RasGAP serves as a key regulator of the Ras signalling pathway and a biomarker of interest in cancer, neurodevelopmental disorders, and autoimmune diseases.
