Mouse Ras GTPase-activating-like protein IQGAP1 (Iqgap1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative, colorimetric detection of mouse IQGAP1 (Ras GTPase-activating-like protein IQGAP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is reactive with mouse samples and detects natural and recombinant mouse Ras GTPase-activating-like protein IQGAP1.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.162ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is given as 8.6% and inter-assay CV as 10.4%. Linearity in serum (N=5) measured 94-104% at 1:2, 96-109% at 1:4, 109-117% at 1:8 and 90-100% at 1:16; in EDTA plasma (N=5) it ranged between 85-95% and 97-110% across the same dilutions, and in heparin plasma (N=5) between 87-99% and 106-115%. Recovery averaged 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma.

IQGAP1 is a cell-membrane protein that binds activated CDC42 without stimulating its GTPase activity and associates with calmodulin. UniProt entry Q9JKF1 describes it as a potential scaffold for organising multimolecular complexes linking incoming signals to actin cytoskeleton reorganisation at the plasma membrane, and notes it may promote neurite outgrowth. The reported molecular weight is 188,742 Da. The kit is intended for research use only.
