Mouse Pyruvate kinase isozymes R/L (Pklr) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Pyruvate kinase isozymes R/L (Pklr) levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and shows reactivity with mouse samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Pyruvate kinase PKLR.

PKLR is described as one of three rate-limiting enzymes in glycolysis, catalysing the transfer of a phosphate group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to ADP to yield ATP and pyruvate. The L-type isoform predominates in liver and the M-type in muscle and brain. The protein functions as a homotetramer and is associated with metabolism research, where the target is also referenced by the synonyms L-PK and Pyruvate kinase isozymes L/R.

The reported detection range is 31.2-2000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.6pg/mL. The kit is supplied with components including an ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and a plate sealer, each with specified storage conditions.
