Mouse Pycard (Apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD) ELISA Kit (MOFI01405)

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures mouse Pycard, the 22 kDa adaptor protein also known as ASC that bridges PYD- and CARD-bearing partners during inflammasome assembly. The protein's namesake speck-like aggregates form when Pycard oligomerizes on activated inflammasome scaffolds, recruiting pro-caspase-1 and driving IL-1β and IL-18 maturation. In mouse research, quantifying circulating Pycard supports studies of caspase-1 activation and downstream inflammatory signaling in models of autoimmunity, sepsis, and sterile tissue injury.

The kit is supplied with a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, lyophilized recombinant standards, and detection reagents in individual vials. Researchers load clarified serum samples prepared from murine blood draws into each well.
