Mouse PVRL2 (Poliovirus Receptor Related Protein 2) ELISA Kit (MOES01384)

Poliovirus receptor-related protein 2 (PVRL2), a calcium-independent immunoglobulin-like adhesion molecule of the nectin family also known as nectin-2 or CD112, can be quantified in mouse sample matrices with this colorimetric microplate assay from Assay Genie. The kit supplies a complete reagent set including pre-coated capture plate, lyophilized recombinant PVRL2 standard, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate solution, and stop reagent, sufficient to generate a standard curve and process samples across one full microplate.

PVRL2 localizes at adherens junctions, contributes to NK cell immunological synapse organization, and functions as an attachment factor for certain pseudotyped viral particles, with altered expression documented in acute myeloid leukemia and several epithelial carcinomas. Mouse models of cancer, viral infection, and autoimmune disease commonly use quantitative PVRL2 measurement to correlate circulating antigen levels with disease progression or therapeutic response.

Sealed components are stored refrigerated upon arrival; reconstitute the standard immediately before the first run, equilibrate plates to ambient temperature before opening foil pouches, and discard diluted working solutions after use.
