Mouse Pulmonary Surfactant Associated Protein A/SPA ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of Mouse Pulmonary Surfactant Associated Protein A (SPA) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, the kit measures SPA, a protein central to lung surfactant function and the maintenance of pulmonary alveolar integrity. Dysregulation of SPA has been linked to lung diseases, making it a useful biomarker for respiratory research.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Recovery rates are reported for serum (range 86-105%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 85-104%, average 95%), and heparin plasma (range 91-100%, average 94%), with linearity values from 84-105% across dilution series. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the lyophilized standard and microplate strips also suitable for storage at -20°C for 12 months.
