Pleiotrophin (PTN) is an 18 kDa heparin-binding growth factor expressed in brain, bone marrow, and several tumor types; it supports neurite outgrowth, osteoblast proliferation, and angiogenesis through receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase zeta and anaplastic lymphoma kinase signaling pathways.

Each kit contains a pre-coated capture plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, recombinant murine PTN standards for generating a standard curve, wash buffer concentrate, and substrate solution. A single plate accommodates up to 96 individual determinations, and wells can be run in duplicate to improve precision when measuring low-abundance samples.
