Mouse PTGS1/Prostaglandin Endoperoxide Synthase 1 ELISA Kit

PTGS1, also known as cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), is an enzyme involved in prostaglandin synthesis that plays a crucial role in inflammation, pain, and other physiological processes. Dysregulation of PTGS1 has been implicated in various diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research and potential therapeutic targets. The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.126ng/mL and a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, with a shelf life of 12 months.

Validated performance includes intra-assay precision (CV <10%) and inter-assay precision (CV <12%). Recovery rates in spiked samples averaged 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same matrices, and the kit shows a loss of activity of less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions.
