Mouse Proto-oncogene Wnt-1 (Wnt1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Proto-oncogene Wnt-1 (Wnt1), for research use only. The kit is reactive against mouse samples and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Proto-oncogene Wnt-1 (UniProt P04426), with listed application in the cancer research area.

Performance figures reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 8.2 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as 5.6% CV and inter-assay precision as 8.1% CV. Dilutional linearity was demonstrated in serum (98-108% at 1:2, 104-114% at 1:4, 102-112% at 1:8, 91-101% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (97-107%, 108-116%, 108-117%, 110-119%) and heparin plasma (102-112%, 98-108%, 82-91%, 80-88%). Spike-and-recovery averaged 100% in serum (range 94-106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96-108%).

Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Wnt1 is a secreted ligand of the frizzled receptor family that triggers Wnt signaling, and is implicated in CNS development, midbrain and cerebellum induction, neural tube morphogenesis, and osteoblast and bone function.
