Mouse Prothymosin alpha (Ptma) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of mouse Prothymosin alpha (PTMA) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The target is a nuclear protein (UniProt P26350, 12,254 Da) that may mediate immune function by conferring resistance to certain opportunistic infections.

The assay reports a detection range of 0.312-20ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.164ng/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%, with linearity validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averaged 99% for serum (range 93-105%) and 101% for plasma (range 95-107%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Prothymosin alpha and is intended for research use only.
