Mouse Proteoglycan 4 (Prg4) ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse Proteoglycan 4 (PRG4), also known as lubricin, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a colorimetric sandwich format with a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.78 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 4.7% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Spike-and-recovery values are 81% (range 80–87%) in serum and 83% (range 80–89%) in plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse Proteoglycan 4. The target analyte is a secreted disulfide-linked homodimer (UniProt Q9JM99) that contributes to boundary lubrication within articulating joints by preventing protein deposition onto cartilage from synovial fluid.
