The colorimetric assay is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.166ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Proteinase-activated receptor 1. Recovery averages 86% (range 80-92%) in serum and 88% (range 82-94%) in plasma. Linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
