S100A6 is a calcium-binding protein of the S-100 family that may function as a calcium sensor and modulator, contributing to cellular calcium signalling, and may play a role in the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and in cell motility. The protein has a reported molecular weight of 10,051 Da (UniProt P14069) and is localised to the nucleus envelope, cytoplasm and cell membrane. The kit is highlighted for use in cancer research.
