Mouse Protein S100-A4 (S100a4) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of mouse Protein S100-A4 (S100A4). The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids and is intended for research use only.

The kit has a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.92 pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Mean recovery is 91% (range 85–97%) in serum and 93% (range 87–99%) in plasma. Linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant mouse Protein S100-A4.

S100A4 is a calcium-binding protein of the S100 family containing two EF-hand motifs, implicated in cell migration, invasion and metastasis, with altered expression linked to cancer, inflammation and fibrosis.
