Mouse Protein O-linked-mannose beta-1,2-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 1 (Pomgnt1) ELISA Kit

POMGNT1 is a single-pass type II membrane protein resident in the Golgi apparatus membrane (UniProt Q91X88) that participates in O-mannosyl glycosylation and may be responsible for synthesis of the GlcNAc(beta1-2)Man(alpha1-)O-Ser/Thr moiety on alpha-dystroglycan and other O-mannosylated proteins.

Because POMGNT1 contributes to O-linked protein glycosylation, cell adhesion, signalling, and development, and its dysregulation has been linked to genetic disease, including the muscular dystrophy-dystroglycanopathy spectrum (MDDGA3, MDDGB3 and MDDGC3), the kit supports pathogenesis and biomarker research.
