Mouse Protein notum homolog (Notum) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is developed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Protein notum homolog (NOTUM) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for mouse samples. The assay targets Palmitoleoyl-protein carboxylesterase NOTUM (UniProt Q8R116) and is reported with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.2pg/mL, using colorimetric detection.

NOTUM is a carboxylesterase that acts as a key negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway by specifically mediating depalmitoleylation of WNT proteins, a modification required for efficient binding to frizzled receptors. The kit supports research applications in the Neurosciences area and is suited to studies of cancer, metabolic disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions linked to dysregulated Wnt signaling and tissue development. The target protein is a secreted hydrolase with a reported molecular weight of 36,756 Da, and the assay detects natural and recombinant mouse NOTUM.
