Mouse Protein FAM132B (Fam132b) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse FAM132B (erythroferrone) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. FAM132B (also known as myonectin, CTRP15, Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 15) is a secreted protein (UniProt Q6PGN1) of the FAM132 family involved in cellular iron ion homeostasis and regulation of fatty acid metabolic processes, with a reported molecular weight of 36,265 Da. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse erythroferrone and is intended for research use only.

Manufacturer performance data indicate a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 15 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Dilutional linearity in serum (N=5) ranged from 99–109% at 1:2 down to 87–97% at 1:16, in EDTA plasma from 105–115% to 91–101%, and in heparin plasma from 104–113% to 108–117% across the same dilutions. Recovery averaged 102% for serum (range 96–108%) and 104% for plasma (range 98–110%).
