Mouse Protein BTG3 (Btg3) ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate detection of mouse Protein BTG3 (Btg3), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is reactive with mouse samples. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Protein BTG3.

Quantitative performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 8.7% and an inter-assay CV of 10.4%. Recovery has been characterised in serum (average 95%, range 89-101%) and plasma (average 97%, range 91-103%). Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is reported across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

BTG3 (B cell translocation gene 3) is a member of the BTG family, also referenced by the synonyms Abundant in neuroepithelium area protein, BTG family member 3, Protein Tob5, Ana and Tob5. According to the UniProt entry P50615, BTG3 overexpression impairs serum-induced cell cycle progression from the G0/G1 to S phase, consistent with a role in negative regulation of the mitotic cell cycle.
